Toledo city council approves raise for firefighters.

Toledo City Council has approved a wage raise for Toledo firefighters, bringing them up to par with the city’s police wages and ending a long period of contract negotiations between the city and the Toledo Firefighters Local 92 union. The new contract includes a 6% equity adjustment, retroactive to April 1, followed by a 3% raise in 2024, another 3% in 2025 and a 4% raise in 2026.
