Tommy L. “Tom” Bigger, 72

Tommy L. “Tom” Bigger, 72, of Hicksville, Ohio passed away Friday, January 6, 2023, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville, Ohio. Tom was born August 7, 1950, in Wooster, Ohio, son of the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Moog) Bigger. He married Victoria L. Meier on September 29, 1990, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and she survives. Tom worked as a screw machine operator at Trident for 10 years and previously worked at Fort Wayne Clutch for 15 years. Tom was an avid fisherman and could often be found preparing his tackle box for his next opportunity to throw his line in the water. When he wasn’t fishing, Tom enjoyed riding motorcycles and cherished the time spent with his family.

Surviving is his wife of 32 years, Victoria Bigger of Hicksville, Ohio; five children, Robert Bigger of Bryan, Ohio, Michele Porter of Columbia City, Indiana, Tracey Bigger of Hicksville, Ohio, Shannon Deemer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Robin Farber of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Roxanne Book of Hicksville, Ohio; two brothers, Jack (Deb) Bigger of Hicksville, Ohio, and Timothy (Bree) Bigger of Paulding, Ohio. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Tasha Farber; brother, William Bigger; two sisters, Barbara Fowler, and Shirley Smith.

Visitation for Tom will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2023, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville, Ohio. Private interment will be made at a later date at Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.
