Tony Miller, 87

Kenneth “Tony” Miller, age 87, of Lyons passed away early Friday February 27, 2015 in his home following an extended illness. Prior to his retirement he had been a Truck Driver.

Tony was born on December 23, 1927 in Fulton County the son of the late Willis and Jenny (Reckner) Miller. He had been married to Delite Patterson and Dorsie Striber both of whom preceded him in death. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Lyons and was a former member of the Lyons Volunteer Fire Department for more than 20 years.

Surviving are children; Kenneth “Butch” (Diane) Miller of Akron, PA, Steve (Debbie) Miller and Tom (Janice) Miller both of Lyons, grandchildren; Jada (Jason), TJ (Pam), Danny, Heidi, Rachel, Mike, Dawn (Kevin), Doug (Monica) and Erica (Andrew) and great-grandchildren; Landon, Aubree, Alexis, Tommy, Austin and many more that Tony loved. Also surviving are siblings; Vonda (Carl) Pennington of Indiana and Dannie (Norma) Miller of Lyons. Preceding him in death besides his parents were siblings; Ruth Mann, Illa Rose Wyse and Willie and Ed Miller, grand-daughter; Angie and great-grand-daughter, Katie.

Funeral services wil be held at 10:00am Tuesday March 10, 2015 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon. Interment will follow in the Lyons Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home on Monday March 9, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the familys’ choice.
