Too Close To Call

A recount looms in one of the Coldwater City Council races. In the Fourth Ward, incumbent Scott Houtz defeated Dan Corwin 143-140. Officials are saying there were four spoiled ballots that were reissued to voters and eventually they were counted afterwards. Now, the vote is too close to call. A call for a recount is in the works. A decision is expected by early next week.
