Tracy A. Potter, age 45, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away at 10:55 A.M. on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at Eibed Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio after a brief illness. Mr. Potter was a 1994 graduate of Waite High School and enjoyed woodworking and operating his business making corn hole boards. He loved coaching softball for Washington Township Girls Softball league and was a avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, The Ohio State Buckeye Football team and the San Francisco 49er’s. Tracy was known a being a sports encyclopedia.
The son of Richard Woodart and Patricia Jean Hale, he was born on January 19, 1976, in Bryan, Ohio. He married Erica L. Skelly on September 28, 2013, in Toledo and she survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Erica, of Toledo are two brothers, Rick H. Potter, of Bowling Green, Ohio, and Bobby L. (Christie) Woodart, of Bryan; a stepsister, Donna K. Robinson, of Bryan; his father, Richard Woodart, of Toledo; numerous aunts and uncles; two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded his mother, Patricia Hale in 2012.
A memorial service celebrating Tracy’s life will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at 5:00 P.M. at the Bryan First Church of Christ. The family will receive visitors for one hour prior to the service beginning at 4:00 P.M. in the church. Interment will be in Brown Cemetery near Bryan.
Memorials are requested to the family to help with expenses.
