Truck Fire Blocks Highway

U.S. 24 east­bound, between U.S. 127 and Ohio 49, was shut down Tues­day after­noon fol­low­ing a fire in a semi-truck.

The Ohio High­way Patrols says the rig was haul­ing more than 12-tons of oranges and grape­fruit when the trailer caught fire yes­ter­day after­noon around 2:30.

Accord­ing to police, the dri­ver escaped injury and no other vehi­cles were involved.
