Two inmates remain incarcerated and under medical observation at CCNO after an apparent overdose

Two inmates remain incarcerated and under medical observation at the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio after an apparent overdose. Around 10:20 p.m. on Monday, May 1, a unit officer observed several inmates gathering around two bunk areas. Upon investigating, he found two inmates were having respiratory problems. The officer called for assistance. Both inmates were taken by Williams County EMS to the Community Hospital of Williams County in Bryan where they were treated, released, returned to CCNO and housed in the infirmary for medical observation. Jim Dennis, CCNO executive director, identified the two inmates involved as Timothy Croninger and Kevin Darah. Both had been housed in a 64-bed minimum security unit at the time of the incident.
