Vicki A. Evans, 75

Vicki A. Evans, 75, of Hicksville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Vancrest of Hicksville surrounded by her loving family.  Vicki was born May 8, 1949, in Hicksville, daughter of the late Rex and Candace (Arrants) Gloor Sr.  She was a 1967 graduate of Hicksville High School.  Vicki married Robert D. “Bob” Evans on April 25, 1970, in Hicksville, and he survives.  She worked in the customer sales department at Parker Hannifin for over 30 years, retiring in 2015.  Vicki was a long-time member of the Hicksville First Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday School for many years.  She was a former member of the Hicksville Aces Football Mothers Club, and an original founder of the Hicksville Aces Spirit Club.  Vicki was an avid collector of Longaberger Baskets.  Above all, Vicki loved her family, her God and her church.

Surviving is her husband, Robert D. “Bob” Evans of Hicksville; two sons, Dusty (Jill) Evans of Hicksville and Jamey (Nicole) Evans of Hicksville; four grandchildren, Broc (Megan) Evans, Hunter (Shaela Owens) Evans, Dylan (Maddie) Evans and Ava Evans; one great-grandchild on the way; and three siblings, Kathy (Marv) Waters of Hicksville, Rex (Deb) Gloor II of Hicksville and Mitzi (Warren) VanderGalien of Hayward, California.  Vicki was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Vicki A. Evans will be held Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 706 North Main Street, Hicksville.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in the funeral home beginning at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Justin Roush officiating.  There will be an additional hour of visitation prior to the start of the funeral on Wednesday.  Interment will follow in Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.
