Viola Alberta Clark, 93

Viola Alberta Clark, 93 years, of Van Wert and formerly of Bryan, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Community Health Professionals Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert. Viola was born May 17, 1924 in Bryan, Ohio, the daughter of the late Camile and Violet (Allen) Clark. She was a 1943 graduate of Bryan High School. Viola worked as an artist and printer for Bob Speck Print Shop retiring in 1951. She was a member of Bryan First Assembly of God and Christian Life Center in Van Wert. In her free time, Viola enjoyed creating art work, especially drawing, reading, cooking and baking. She was known for her pumpkin, rhubarb and pecan pies. Viola cherished spending time with her family.

Surviving are her three children, Allen Charles (Sherry) Hornung of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dee Anne Hornung of Van Wert, Ohio and Sandra Faith (Dennis) Kleman of Van Wert, Ohio; five grandchildren, Randall “Lee” (Katie) Williams, Jesse (Virginia) Williams, Orville Williams, Alexandra Kleman, and Ethan Kleman, and three great-grandchildren, Parker Williams, Lincoln Williams, and Shephard Williams. Viola was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Margaret Goodwin, Alice Clark, and Martha Dennis, and one brother, Charles Clark.

Graveside Services for Viola Alberta Clark will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan, with Dan Jinkins officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will follow Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 206 West Bement Street, Bryan. Arrangements under the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home – Lynn Street Chapel, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan.
