Virginia L. Goldsmith, age 86, of Wauseon, Ohio went peacefully home to be with Jesus on April 22, 2018 at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. She was born to Alfred and Otillie (Kaiser) Baum in Wauseon, Ohio on November 7, 1931. She married Jim Goldsmith on August 7, 1950 and preceded her in death in 1999. Virginia worked at Fulton Industries, as well as sold real estate. She was an excellent seamstress, accomplished pianist and played at church for many years. A member of Sion United Methosidt Church, she was known for her warm smile and love of coffee.
Virginia is survived by her childrenh Jackie (Terry) Zeigler of Wasueon, Jill (Phil) Roth of Silver Lake, Ohio, Josie (Dave) Crisman of Wauseon, Bonnie (Lonnie Wyse) Krauss, of Archbold, and John Goldsmith of Wauseon; brother Harold Baum (Lila Mae), and sister-in-law Bernie (Jim) Shock; also twelve grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
