Vivian M. Murray, 85, of Pioneer, Ohio died early Thursday morning at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier, Ohio. She was born on February 1, 1928 in Jefferson Township, Ohio to Walter D. and Grace L. (Stine) Mercer. Vivian graduated from Pioneer High School in 1946.
For most of Vivian’s life she was a homemaker, raising her family. Later in life she worked at Allied Moulded Products in Bryan, Ohio; retiring in 1993.
Vivian is survived by two sons, Gary (Cheryl) Murray of Montpelier, Ohio and Walter (Bonnie) Murray of Pioneer, Ohio; one sister Shirley (Richard) Martin of Bryan, Ohio; five grandchildren, Brian Murray of Seattle Washington, Chris Murray and her husband Christopher Underdown of Chicago, Illinois, Nicholas Murray and fiancé Melanie Ervin of Manhattan Beach, California, Paul Murray of Pioneer, and Jamie (Allan) Street of Pulaski, Ohio; and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Joann Moor.
Visitation hours for Vivian will be on Saturday June 1st from 10a-1pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer, Ohio. Services will follow at 1pm with Nelson Rupp to officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer. Donations may be made to Community Health Professionals-Hospice.
