Volunteers needed to widen bridge over Beaver Creek

The North­west­ern Ohio Rails-to-Trails Asso­ci­a­tion is look­ing for vol­un­teers to help work on widen­ing and re-decking the bridge over Beaver Creek. The sched­uled work day is this Sat­ur­day, Novem­ber 14th from 8 am to Noon. Vol­un­teers should meet at 8 a.m. on County Road 17, south of U.S. 20A. If you are plan­ning to vol­un­teer your time, bring your own work gloves, ham­mers, lop­ping and prun­ing shears, saws and other tools to clear the area. The Asso­ci­a­tion will pro­vide build­ing mate­ri­als, power tools, water and super­vi­sion of the project.
