Walk For Will’s Sake Scheduled For Saturday

In Bryan, the 6th Annual Walk For Will’s Sake will be held on Sat­ur­day at the Jaycee Pavil­ion in Bryan Recre­ation Park.

Reg­is­tra­tion begins at 9 a.m. and the walk will start at 10.

William Bur­ton is the 7 year old son of Robert and Angie Bur­ton, who expe­ri­enced com­pli­ca­tions at birth which resulted in brain dam­age and devel­op­men­tal delays.

The annual walk is to raise money for his med­ical treat­ments, which are costly and are not cov­ered by insur­ance. All pro­ceeds of the walk will be donated to Sara’s Gar­den to off­set the cost of Will’s treat­ment.

If you par­tic­i­pate, and you col­lect $35 in dona­tions, you will get a free T-shirt.
