Wauseon Family Escapes House Fire

Offi­cials say they expect to release the offi­cial cause of a Wednes­day evening fire near Wauseon some­time today.

Fire­fight­ers from four depart­ments were called out Wednes­day evening just before 7 to a house fire on Ful­ton County Road 15.

Ini­tial reports indi­cate that the fire began in the chim­ney.

Dam­age to the home, owned by Matthew and Mis­cha Oku­ley was described by fire­fight­ers as mod­er­ate. The inves­ti­ga­tion into the exact cause has been ongo­ing since the blaze occured on Wednesday.
