WEDCO Makes It Official

WEDCO has a new leader. Late last week, during a meeting of the Williams County Commissioners, Matt Davis was named the new executive director of the Williams County Economic Development Corporation.

Davis was the unanimous selection over seven other candidates, all whe were extensively interviewed by the WEDCO search committee.

Davis begins his new job on February 2, and will be paid $61,000 annually.

Davis holds a bachelor of arts degree in urban and regional planning and political science from Ohio University, and also is a certified Economic Development Finance Professional.

Davis lives in Bryan with his wife, Niki, and their two sons.
