William E. Babinger, age 91, of Hicksville, Ohio, died at 1:40 P.M. on Thursday, February 23, 2017, at Heartland of Wauseon, Ohio, where he was a patient. Bill worked as a machinist for Aro Corporation in Bryan for 42 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Bryan.
William E. Babinger was born October 4, 1925 in Defiance County, the son of Edward and Nellie (Hart) Babinger. He married Mary E. (Gerencser) on February 26, 1977 and she survives.
Bill is also survived by a son, Steve (Betsy) Babinger, of Hicksville; daughter, Diane (Eugene) Browand, of Auburn, Indiana; stepdaughter, Sherri Green, of Bryan; stepson, Stanton Daugherty, of Armonk, New York and grandchildren, Kacee Babinger, Amy Fahrer, Courtney Green and Randy Franks. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant twin brothers and a stepdaughter, Cynthia Cliffton.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Farmer Cemetery with Pastor Mary Beth Smith-Gunn officiating. Service arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Service, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan, Ohio.
