William E. Myers, age 88, of rural Wauseon passed away late Thursday November 17, 2016 in his home. Prior to his retirement he had worked for Champion Spark Plug for more than 30 years. He had also been a life long area farmer.
Mr. Myers was born in Holland, Ohio on February 11, 1928, the son of the late Floyd and the late Helen (Morgret) Myers. He married the former Evelyn Stites and she preceded him in death in 1985. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Surviving are his children; Cynthia (Ronald) Schmid, Jill (Ray) Couts, John (Camille) Myers, Kevin Myers and Lydia (Travis) Brown. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceding him in death besides his parents were sisters; Dorothy Brockway, Elsie Bates and brother Gerald Myers.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday November 19, 2016 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon with Pastor Don Krieger officiating. Interment will follow in the Ottokee Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 11:00am until service time. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Dine’ Missions, P.O. Box 1751, Gallup, NM 87305.
