William Joseph Vargo, age 95, of Wauseon, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon. Prior to his retirement he had been a truck driver.
William was born in Toledo, Ohio on February 27, 1926, the son of William J. and Rose (Pocs) Vargo. He was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosemary Babos, Irene Myers and Judy Mason.
Committal services with military honors will be held this summer at St. Richard’s Cemetery in Swanton. Online condolences may be offered at www.grisierfh.com. Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon has been entrusted with arrangements.
