William Musser, 92

William S. Musser, 92 years, of Bryan, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne after a sudden illness.  Bill was born July 17, 1921 in Bryan, son of the late William J. and Viona (Brown) Musser.  He married Fae I. Ridenour on January 15, 1955 in Bryan.  Bill was a lifelong farmer.  He also was a rural mail carrier for many years.  He was an active member of the First Brethren Church in Bryan.  He was also a member of the Farm Bureau.  Bill and Fae enjoyed extensive traveling, both in the United State and abroad.  He also enjoyed photography, reading and up until he was in his 80’s, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  He had been in 48 states on his motorcycle.  He also enjoyed riding his bicycle.

Surviving is his wife, Fae of Bryan; close friends, Allen (Shelly) Dean and their family, of Bryan, as well as several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Max Musser.

Visitation for William S. Musser will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home – Greenisen Chapel, 225 East High Street, Bryan.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in First Brethren Church, 13050 County Road C, Bryan with Pastors Wayne Gropp and Fred Brandon officiating.  Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.  Visitation for Bill will also be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
