William R. Carter, Sr., age 75, of Edon, Ohio, died at 2:50 P.M. on Saturday, February 10, 2017, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers- Montpelier. William was a warehouse manager for Pepsi for 28 years in New Mexico before retiring back to Edon. He enjoyed taking care of his farm animals.
William Ray Carter was born on February 27, 1942, in Millfield, Ohio, the son of John R. and Dosha O. (Gill) Carter. He married Rosalie L. Price in 1972 and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Julie Fosgate, of Montpelier, Barbara (Chuck) Tull, of Nashville, Tennessee, William (Debbie) Carter, Jr., of Holland, Ohio and John (Jennette) Price, of Toledo; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and brothers, James (Linda) Carter, of Oregon, Ohio, Walter (Jane) Carter, of Newport, Michigan, Kenneth (Vickie) Carter, of Clovis, New Mexico, Donald (Jonny) Carter, of Clarkston, Michigan, Phillip (Anna) Carter, of Toledo, Rick Cater and Michael (Bonnie) Carter, both of Temperance, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Marcus Carter, brother, Robert Carter and sister, Ola Wojciechowski.
Honoring William’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Krill Funeral Home, 860 West Mulberry Street, Bryan.
