Williams County Commissioners to fund a Family and Consumer Sciences position through OSU Extension.

The Williams County Commissioners pass a resolution to fund a Family and Consumer Sciences position through the Ohio State University Extension Office. Common Pleas Judge Karen Gallagher, Becky McGuire and Kayla Wise first brought the request to commissioners in May and discussion has been ongoing since. The onetime $35,000 dollar allocation, approved by commissioners…will cover wages and other expenses, to fund the FCS position for the rest of the fiscal year. The role will be educational with a goal of helping residents make informed decisions, regarding personal well-being, relationships and finances.
