Williams County Department of Aging executive director Sarah Stubblefield recently gave the county commissioners an overview of the agency’s 2025 activities. The county has seven locations with Edgerton, Edon, Pioneer, Montpelier, West Unity, Stryker and Bryan. They provide meals, activities, and programming at the centers; home-delivered meals; transportation; support for older individuals, caregivers, and the community; and help with financial planning and insurance applications. According to Stubblefield, 137,718 meals were served, 2,896 distinct people were served, and the hot shot meal delivery trucks traveled more than 75,000 miles in 2025.
