Williams County Man Killed In Crash

A Williams County man died early Thurs­day morn­ing in a two-vehicle crash.It hap­pened yes­ter­day morn­ing just before 7AM at U.S. 20A and Williams County Road 17 in Jef­fer­son Town­ship, when an east­bound vehi­cle dri­ven by 28 year old Samuel Sierra of West Unity, ran into the rear axle of a truck dri­ven by 61 year old Fred Chapin of Nor­walk. Sierra was pro­nounced dead at the scene. He was not wear­ing a safety belt at the time of the crash accord­ing to police. That crash yes­ter­day morn­ing is still under inves­ti­ga­tion today.
