A two-vehicle crash Sunday evening in Paulding County left a Hicksville woman with serious injuries.
The Ohio Highway Patrol says it happened Sunday around 8:45 p.m. at U.S. 24 and Paulding County Road 143 in Emerald Township when a pick-up truck driven by 19 year old Courtney Schaffer and another pick-up truck driven by 45 year old David Ashenfelter of Flora, Indiana slammed into each other at the intersection.
Schaffer was taken by air ambulance to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
Ashenfelter and a passenger, 44 year old Michelle Soupley, also of Flora, Indiana, were both taken by ambulance to ProMedica Defiance Regional Hospital.
Troopers say alcohol use is not suspected, and the crash is still being investigated.
