Craig Parliment, Sr., 66

Craig W. Parliment, Sr., age 66, of West Unity, passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014, near Pioneer, as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Prior to his retirement in 1999 he had worked for General Motors Corporation for 30 years.

Craig was born in Boonton, New Jersey, on November 10, 1947, the son of Harry and Ruth (Manahan) Parliment. Craig loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles and was a former member of the Fountain City Corvette Club. He was also a member of the NRA, Pheasants Forever and he loved to fish and hunt.

Surviving is son, Jason (Jennifer) Parliment of Ambler, PA, and his mother Irene Parliment of Pennsylvania. He is also survived by sons, Kurt (Shae) Parliment of Bryan, Craig Parliment, Jr. of West Unity and Ryan Parliment of Bordentown, NJ and their mother, Courtney Parliment of Stryker. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Avera, Chelsea, Travis, and Jaylin Parliment, brother, Ed (Robin) Parliment of Colorado and sister, Kathy King of Colorado. He was preceded in death by both parents.

Visitation and time of sharing will be held from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to “family choice”.
