Williams County Health Department is using the state’s Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided With Naloxone) to help local first responders combat the drug problem in the county. Project DAWN is a network of naloxone and fentanyl test strip distribution programs that provide opioid overdose education and harm reduction services coordinated by the Ohio Department of Health. It has been active in Williams County since 2016.
