Ohio Art Co. and BMU pursue mediation.

The civil lawsuit filed by The Ohio Art Co. against Bryan Municipal Utilities has been stayed while the two parties pursue mediation. Visiting Judge Reeve Kelsey ordered the stay after the two parties informed him in June they had decided to pursue mediation. Counsel is required to notify the judge of the results of mediation by Aug. 15. At issue is an over billing for water service by BMU to The Ohio Art Co., according to court documents.
