9–1-1 CELEBRATION SLATED

The pub­lic is invited to join North­west State Com­mu­nity Col­lege fac­ulty, staff and stu­dents for a 9/11 trib­ute cer­e­mony on Wednes­day, Sep­tem­ber 11 at 12:15 p.m. Sen­a­tor Cliff Hite will pro­vide the keynote address for the cer­e­mony, which will include a moment of silence and patri­otic music.

The Col­lege is encour­ag­ing all in atten­dance to make an “I Will” pledge to honor vic­tims, first respon­ders, fire­fight­ers and other vol­un­teers. The “I Will” cam­paign is part of the 9/11 Trib­ute Move­ment, which encour­ages Amer­i­cans to view Sep­tem­ber 11 as a day of ser­vice and remem­brance.

The trib­ute cer­e­mony will take place in the NSCC Atrium and is free and open to the pub­lic. Light refresh­ments will be served. For more infor­ma­tion, visit www.northweststate.edu or call 419.267.5511.
