Flash flood watch in effect for six counties

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch is in effect through tonight, covering a six-county area. Another two to four inches of rain is expected, and there could be more. Watch for ponding on roadways, which can cause a driver to lose control. Plus, flash flooding is possible, especially where there are larger streams and rivers. Forecasters are watching the Tiffin River, which is expected to hit flood stage of 11 feet today. And it is expected to continue to rise. At this point, the Tiffin River is expected to peak tomorrow at 11.7 feet. Other area rivers are approaching their peaks as well.
