Defiance fire victim identified

The woman who died in the fire Wednesday in Defiance has been identified. The victim, Michelle Rivas, was in the home at 532 Petain St. and died before firefighters were able to get to her. The home was torn down Thursday. The fire remains under investigation. The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office is working with Defiance Fire Department.
