Defiance Area YMCA begins the last, community-wide phase of multi-year “legacy” fundraising effort.

The Defiance Area YMCA has declared that it has begun the last, community-wide phase of its multi-year “legacy” fundraising effort, which aims to expand essential programming and refurbish the existing facilities.  According to a press statement from the YMCA, this milestone occurs amid the last stages of an aquatics center makeover.  According to the statement, the “legacy” campaign has reached 80% of its $1.5 million target with over $1.2 million in commitments to date.
