Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine spent part of his day yesterday in Defiance, speaking with students at Defiance College and a smaller meeting at Carmine’s Little Italy restaurant. He told those who came out to see him that the heroin problem is in every class and income level. It is in the affluent suburbs, the cities, and rural areas. He said he is supportive of making Narcan available over the counter, and encourages everyone to address the problem. He said it won’t happen overnight, but it will begin to make a difference.
