Former postal worker faces charges in money order thefts

The case against a Leipsic postal worker who allegedly stole money orders is moving forward. The lawyer for 20-year-old Douglas of Defiance has a pretrial conference set for Feb. 23rd with a judge from U.S. District Court. The complaint states that Bush is accused of stealing about $22,000 from the post office last summer while he worked there in Leipsic. The prosecutor says the man stole money orders in about a two week period, from June 30th to July 16th, last year.
