911 system down on Wednesday in some areas

The Williams County Emergency Management Agency is looking in to why the Emergency 911 phone system was malfunctioning yesterday. Director Don Bulla told the Bryan Times that the system went down about 11 a.m. despite redundancies built in to the system in case of these types of problems. The outage affected the Bryan Police Department, and 911 in Defiance and Fulton counties for a couple of hours.
