Paulding County Sheriff considers reopening shuttered jail

The Sheriff in Paulding County is looking into reopening the county jail, and wants citizens to weigh in. Sheriff Jason Landers says he would like to see the county jail reopen, but realizes there are some issues that need to be addressed first. An operating levy would need to be passed. The soonest a levy could be on the ballot is November. Community input meetings also would be held on the issue. He wants to hear from residents by phone and let him know your thoughts.
