Sen. Brown wants swift action on FEND Off Fentanyl Act.

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH) wants to see swift action to enact the protections lined out in the Fentanyl Eradication and Narcotics Deterrence (FEND) Off Fentanyl Act. President Joe Biden signed the act into law last week, as part of a $95 billion national security package. Brown said this legislation would put sanctions on the entire supply chain, including Chinese manufacturers of fentanyl and its transportation to Mexican cartels that traffic it into the United States. The bill will also target the cartels’ billions of dollars in illicit profits.
