Angola man takes plea deal in Fort Wayne stabbing death

An Angola man pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter on Monday and was sentenced to 33 year in prison in Allen Superior Court. The 31-year-old defendant, Jeremee Coney, had a murder and robbery charges dismissed in the stabbing death of a man from Fort Wayne last summer. He admitted killing 37-year-old Donald Jacquay , found stabbed to death in his Hanna Street apartment. After his release, Coney will serve two years probation and must pay restitution to the family.
