Drive for prom dresses

No need to let that prom dress take up space in your closet. Defiance College’s Inter-Greek Council is collecting those beautiful, often-once-worn dresses for their Prom Dress Extravaganza. The drive started two years ago. The goal is to allow all high school girls enjoy their school prom even on a tight budget. While they can’t get you a date, they can get you a prom dress from $5 to $20. To donate a dress, drop them off in Defiance at the office of Butler Real Estate on Clinton Street. The Prom Dress Extravaganza is set for this Saturday in Hubbard Hall on the Defiance College campus from 10 am to 4 p.m. Then, as donations continue to come in, they’ll hold another one on April 9th.
