Daniel K. Spies, age 74 of Wauseon, Ohio, died Saturday March 26, 2016 in Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon, Ohio. He was born April 24, 1941 in York, Pa. to the late Alvine Kenneth and Isabelle Virginia (Ritz) Spies. He married Teresa A. Marshall on October 14, 1995 and she survives. He was a truck driver with NRG Recycling, Napoleon, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa A. Spies, Wauseon. Children; Randy, Kelly, Kim, Michael, Jodi, Chris, and Ben. 16 grandchildren. 2 great-grandchildren. One sister; Beverly Seitz, of Pennsylvania. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, Ohio. Pastor Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow in Wauseon Union Cemetery. Friends may call for public visitation 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
