Cleveland accused murderer’s trial to start today

A case that shocked Ohio three years ago is coming up for trial beginning today. Michael Madison is the man suspected of killing three women and wrapping their bodies in garbage bags. The case seemed a bit overshadowed by two other Cleveland murderers, Ariel Castro and Anthony Sowell, who killed 11 women. Madison’s day in court begins today. He faces the death penalty if convicted. The bodies were discovered at his home after a cable tv worker reported a putrid smell coming from the garage. Police found one body inside wrapped in garbage bags, and two others were found nearby.
Madison confessed to one of the victims, saying he didn’t remember the other two, blaming his faulty memory on drugs and beer.
