Alleged bank robbers next appearance set

A couple wanted on bank robbery charges in Michigan had their first appearance in an Ohio courtroom. 32 year old John T. Morgan and 29 year old Nickole Collins were arraigned Monday afternoon. The couple was stopped early Monday morning for a traffic violation near Cincinnati. Both are facing charges of possession of drug abuse instruments and obstructing official business. Collins also faces a charge of possession of drugs. The two are wanted in connection with the robbery of the Century Bank And Trust branch office in Quincy on March 29. Morgan is facing three counts of bank robbery, three counts of unarmed robbery and a charge of conspiracy to commit bank robbery. Collins also faces a charge of bank robbery and conspiracy to commit bank robbery. The couple’s next court appearance in Ohio will be on April 14. They are awaiting extradition back to Michigan.
