WillCo JFS gets new director

Fred Lord has been named director of Williams County Job and Family Services. He replaces the current director Pam Johnson. He’s worked as a senior human resources consultant in Lima. Lord was the only candidate considered for the position, according to the Commission President Brian Davis. One commissioner dissented in the vote to offer him the position, saying that he believes the agency needs someone with previous Job and Family Services experience. He’s replacing Pam Johnson, who is moving back to county workforce development coordinator, which she says is her passion.
