Semi hits car, crash pins driver

One man was seriously injured in a 2-vehicle crash in Paulding County on Friday. Troopers say 62-year-old Robert Reynolds was driving a semi southbound on US 127 when he was trying to pass a car trying to turn on to SR 613. 67-year-old Saundra Bandy’s car was hit by the semi. The truck driver was not wearing a seat belt and was trapped in the truck. He had to be cut out of the wreck and was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. Bandy suffered only minor injuries, thanks to her safety belt. OSHP does not believe alcohol to be a factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation.
