Convenience store suspects indicted

Two Defiance men who allegedly robbed carry-outs in Defiance and Paulding counties have been indicted by a Paulding County grand jury.
According to the Paulding County prosecutor’s office, 45-year-old Rodney Heath was indicted on charges of aggravated robbery, and robbery, along with 36-year-old Russell Hutchinson. He was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery. The prosecutor says the robberies happened on April 30 at the Charloe Store Gas Station, South Town Food Market in Defiance and Cecil Maramart on U.S. 127 on Dec. 11th. Investigators say Hutchinson confessed to his involvement with the Cecil Maramart robbery, while Heath confessed involvement in all three. Arraignment dates for Heath and Hutchinson have not been set.
