Kasich explains why he dropped out

Governor John Kasich made his first TV appearance since dropping out of the race for the presidency. He told CNN’s Anderson Cooper he is not ready to endorse Donald Trump, saying he doesn’t like how Trump attacks people. He dismissed the suggestion that he should run as an independent candidate and he’s not inclined to join the Trump ticket as a running mate. Kasich did say he wanted to campaign a little longer to see how his fund-raising would be affected after Ted Cruz dropped out, but he after the republican national committee Chairman declared Trump the presumptive nominee, Kasich wasn’t happy about that and dropped out.
