Uber driver will plead insanity, lawyer says

The Michigan man charged with killing six strangers in between picking up riders for Uber is expected to plead insanity in his defense. Yesterday at his pretrial hearing, Jason Dalton’s lawyer said he’ll file the notice to use the insanity defense. Dalton is charged with murder and attempted murder in the Feb. 20th shootings of 8 people in Kalamazoo. He said a devil figure on Uber’s app was controlling him.
