Road expansion to be bid in the next month

In Pioneer, a $2.2 million dollar road project paid for mostly by the state and the US government will connect Clark Street to Core Way Drive and Ohio 15 is set to be bid in the next month. Mayor Ed Kidston says hopefully by spring we will have a road. The road is going to help with the 44,000 square foot joint expansion project with Trufast at Reifel Industries and will help keep industrial traffic away from the nearby school. The expansion will generate 50 new jobs over the next three years in Pioneer.
