Festival season is here and this week, temperatures will be in the 80s with most days dry except Wednesday, where thunderstorms are expected. Today the Paulding County Fair begins and runs through Sunday at the Fairgrounds. Today a cornhole tournament will be held and a junior fair parade. There’s harness racing this week and Paulding Idol.
Bryan is getting ready for the Jubilee on the Square, running tomorrow through Saturday. Christian music night is Thursday, Karoake night and stunt bike shows will be featured on Friday. The parade is Saturday at 5:30 on kids day.
The Weekly Cruise-in on the Square is Thursday. There will be door prizes, music, a 50/50 raffle and cars, trucks and motorcycles on display at the courthouse square. The Cruise-in is 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
The Relay for Life for Williams and Henry County is Friday night. Starting in both counties at 6 p.m. through noon on Saturday.
The Take Me to the Rivers Jazz Festival is Saturday in Defiance at 3rd and Wayne Ave, a free music festival featuring four bands, food, beer and wine, and kids activities. People are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and the event runds from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
