Zika virus found in Lucas County woman through sexual transmission

A Lucas County woman has contracted the Zika virus through sexual contact with her husband, who recently returned from a trip in a country with an active Zika outbreak. Zika is only dangerous to unborn babies and the 61-year-old woman is not at risk. The Ohio Department of Health says this is the 15th travel related case of the virus, and so far no one has been diagnosed with the virus through mosquitos in Ohio.
