A Delta Woman Killed in a Crash Friday Morning in Fulton County

A Delta woman was killed in a crash Friday morning in Fulton County. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that happened at the intersection of Fulton County roads 13 and F. The victim is 89-year-old Helen Speiss of Delta, who was hit by a driver who failed to stop at a stop sign. That driver, 72-year-old Carol Knapp of Liberty Center, hit the woman’s car then a traffic sign and a utility pole. She was transported to the Fulton County Health Center for treatment. Speiss was trapped in her vehicle and had to be extricated by first responders. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
